Thanks to my awesome Twi-mom Teena I have this new cool app on my droid phone! Its called "Laputa", where I´m able to download books for free.
I downloaded and read "The Host" from our beloved Stephenie Meyer and I just started to read the Anita Blakes series ( featuring a professional zombie raiser/supernatural consultant for the police as the protagonist in a world where vampires and werecreatures not only exist, but are citizens with recently protected, if nervously granted, civil rights in the US) from Laurell K. Hamilton now. I also downloaded the first books from the "The Vampire Diaries" serie and the "The Southern Vampire Mysteries aka Sookie Stackhouse novels" from Charlaine Harris.

Well, I´m writing this post to recommend you to read "The Host" (if you haven´t done it yet).
I couldnt stop reading it, i didnt eat, i didnt drink and I didnt see the sunlight for 2 days... Its sooo good and I´m very glad that they will make a movie out of it (maybe I should go to the castings... hmmmm)

Die Kinos waren bei den Voraufführungen trotz der Sommerhitze stark besetzt. Das Publikum: zu 80 Prozent unter 20 Jahren, zu 90 Prozent weiblich. Immer wenn sich die sanfte Bella (Kristen Stewart) an ihren Vampir-Geliebten Edward (Rob Pattinson) schmiegte, erklangen schmachtende Seufzer im Saal – gefolgt von leisen Entsetzensschreien, wenn den Liebenden Gefahr drohte.

In Medical Schools, Therapists Train on Characters From Hit Movies, Television and Books

The case of two troubled teens captivated psychiatrists at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine for months. Eleven residents and four attending psychiatrists read up on their symptoms and met once a week to discuss them.

They stipulated early on that Edward was, indeed, a vampire. But since he was supposedly 100 years old, not 17 as he appeared, his adolescent moodiness suggested arrested development.

As for Bella, her self-loathing and willingness to sacrifice herself made her especially vulnerable to a dangerous relationship. Treatment plan: cognitive behavioral therapy to counter her automatic negative thoughts.

So what if the patients weren't real? Analyzing the neuroses in the popular "Twilight" saga was such an effective teaching tool that the 12-week elective, dubbed "Therapy Bites," was presented at the American Psychiatric Association's conference last month.

'Eclipse' costume trivia: Deleted scenes, karate pants, and more!

You can learn a lot about a character — and an actor — talking to a film’s costume designer. Here, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse‘s Tish Monaghan reveals a few secrets from the wardrobe closets:

• Robert Pattinson wanted to wear karate pants for the training sequence. “So we got him some karate pants, and it’s like the crotch hangs down to the knees, and I just thought, Ugh. Who’s gonna go for this? Because everything has to be approved by Summit,” Monaghan says. “We took them in a little bit, and they loved the karate pants. Who knew? I was so surprised.”

• Even at the film’s premiere, people squealed when Taylor Lautner turned around in that black T-shirt. “It was almost embarrassing. I felt so bad for him,” Monaghan says, with a laugh. “They were screaming and going ‘Wooooo!’” As she’d done on New Moon, her M.O. was to put him in smaller size Gap or Banana Republic T-shirts to emphasize his biceps, tightening the tees around the arm holes and taking them in down the side. (Pattinson wore Gap T-shirts, exclusively, she adds. “They were what fit him best. They had the best colors. So that’s what he ended up wearing, even when Edward takes Bella up to the tent. It may strike people as odd, but he doesn’t feel temperature, so that’s why we only put him in a shirt, and Bella’s all bundled up, and Jacob, of course, is running around shirtless.”

While talking to Access Hollywood, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner discussed the scenes where the two had to fight (for Bella, played by Kristen Stewart) but when the cameras stopped rolling, the two friends were very chummy with each other.
The tension between the two characters didn’t affect the actors. Taylor admits that hating Edward is hard because of Robert, who’s a great guy. “One of the most challenging things about filming this was having to hate Edward because I’m looking at Rob.”
What did Rob say about Taylor? When asked about laughing between takes he added “Especially when he’s wearing his little spandex outfit. It’s great when he goes “If you come near her again…” and then you just slap him on the ass. “

Two Sisters, called Hannah and Hilly Hindi, are creating the best and most funniest Twilight Parodies. As far as I know, they are busy producing a Eclipse Parody right now.
They are the hosts at the official Twilight Conventions from Creation Ent. as well. I had the Honor to meet them twice and they are sooo nice!! (But dont get me wrong, its not just Twilight, there are many other videos.)
They just published their new "The Runaways" Parody and I think its really great.

Hello to all my Twi-loving friends out there!!

This is my first blogg entry and Im very excited!!
Let me introduce myself quick. I´m ChasTin (but also called Kerstin) and I come from Austria. I lived 2 years in the States and had to leave them on the 11th May... But I´m still fighting on coming back cause I LOVE America!!!!
My life changed completely in this 2 years. Specially in Nov. 2008 when I went to the movietheater to watch this vampiremovie called Twilight. I´m really sorry to say that I never heard about the books before. After my vacation in FL (and a couple of sunburns later) my Sis and I knew everything about the Saga and since then we live and breath for it!!
Our official Twi-family started Aug.2009 when we went to our first Twilight Convention and met the beatiful girls from NJ, Staten Island n Buffalo NY!

So, this was my little story. I´m going to bed now cause its like 12:15AM here in Austria but here is a clip for u guys from Burger King!! Its with some real Twi-fans who won at the casting call a couple of months ago! Congratz to the winners! Its really funny!
